The beautician deals with various types of aesthetic treatments but also with cosmetic treatments at a professional level: he is not a doctor but to carry out this profession he must follow special courses and thus have a knowledge of the body and problems related to health, so as to advise customers in the best possible way.
A beautician can perform different types of services: from classic hair removal to manicures to more specific treatments for the body, for example relaxing or detox massages, just to name a couple. There are also qualifications and specializations that allow the beautician to carry out other tasks, for example skin analysis or at an even more specific level everything related to the nail, from solving the most common problems such as nail biting for example to all those services that include nail reconstruction, application of special gels and decorations. The more a beautician is specialized, the more his work assumes a more important value, always remaining in the field of aesthetics: therefore the beautician can advise on skin imperfections but cannot carry out medical treatments, so it is his job to address the client to a dermatologist or specialist. A beautician can be an employee or work as a freelancer, rely on a beauty center or work on her own at home: in all cases, she must be a qualified, expert and compliant person with regard to health and hygiene rules. Follow our directions to create a beautician CV and use our example as the basis for your resume, adding the specializations you deem necessary and personalizing this document as best you can.
Professional experience
Precisely because it is a profession that is learned mainly in the field, professional experience must be included in the CV as the very first element, highlighting the most significant experiences in the sector and trying to create as much as possible a line of continuity between all positions held up to the time of sending the CV. If you have experience at a particularly recognized or famous facility, highlight it on your resume specifying what you did and if there was anything where your professionalism was essential. How to design a beautician’s CV
Even if we are in the image field, a beautician’s CV follows the same layout rules as all other professions: a simple and accurate layout, which focuses attention on the most important details of the candidate, which is easy to read and does not contain errors. Added to this is an understandable font, saving the document in PDF format and the use of very few colors, just to give that extra touch without exaggerating.
