The job of the security guard is certainly one that requires professionalism and also a good dose of cold blood. The security guard takes care of the security of private spaces, small, medium and large, and is hired to ensure that everything is in order and there are no problems. Security guards are hired by companies, but also individuals or entities to protect themselves without having to resort to the public security authority. A profession, therefore, highly specialized and necessary to ensure the safety of things and buildings.
The security guards work on behalf of private security institutions and in order to carry out the profession they must swear and be subjected to periodic checks to ensure their integrity and good mental health. There is no specific qualification to become a security guard but there are requirements that candidates must have in order to carry out this job: these are psychophysical, aptitude, but also legal requirements that allow you to evaluate the candidate at 360 degrees. These are private security institutions that organize professional courses to which only candidates who have the eligibility requirements to operate in the sector are admitted; at the end of the training, the Prefect can issue the qualification of Sworn Private Guard, which is followed by a necessary training period before being able to work independently. The security guard is not a public official and does not deal with the protection of the person but these figures are granted the license to carry weapons for service needs and for personal defense. It goes without saying that being a security guard is a profession that requires a sense of responsibility, integrity and resistance to stressful situations.
Professional experience
Professional experience and training have almost the same importance for a security guard: since you can only practice the profession if you have the requirements and the certificate of the Prefect, the same importance must be dedicated to these two sections.
